In both architecture and life, my core belief remains unchanged. I prioritize reason, empathy, and kindness towards others and our environment above all else. Life is nuanced, and so should our buildings be. My passion lies in fostering connections between living beings, facilitated by the spaces we inhabit.
In my research, my focus is on the responsibility of us, as architects, towards people in vulnerable positions and living things facing vulnerability. In our society, not everyone has the option to speak for themselves. I aim to identify new research gaps where the voices of these individuals and groups should be heard.
My architectural background is rooted in the conservation, conversion, and restoration of historically significant buildings. I thrive on the challenge of the unknown, finding excitement in the unexplored territories of design.
